The Hong Kong-listed firm’s annual polysilicon production capacity is expected to reach 21,000 tonnes by the end of 2010.
“To build a vertically-integrated PV supply chain and thereby to meet the strong demand from market development in the PV industry (¿), GCL-Poly has been quickly expanding its PV business from polysilicon production to ingot production and slicing of wafers since the second half of 2009,” says Shu Hua, executive director and executive president of GCL-Poly.
