The company — a unit of GCL-Poly, the biggest polysilicon and wafer supplier in the global PV industry — expects to link 2GW of PV to the Chinese grid in 2015, bringing its cumulative grid-connected capacity to about 2.6GW by the end of this year.
GCL New Energy then aims to install 2.5GW in 2016 and 3GW in 2017, according to a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange.
