Gamesa will develop three PV plants on a turnkey basis for New Era Enviro, providing EPC services and inverters.

The Spanish group said commissioning may take place as soon as the current first quarter.

The deal is Gamesa’s second in the Indian solar sector, where it won a 10MW EPC deal in the state of Tamil Nadu last July.

Gamesa joins fellow wind-focused businesses Suzlon and Mytrah in successfully bidding in the Telananga process, which set out to procure up to 2GW last year.
