First Solar scores 130MW of module sales in Turkey

In recent months in Turkey, First Solar sold 100MW of its Series 4 modules to Zorlu Enerji and another 60MW to Basariarge Enerji, the company says.

First Solar claims it is now the leading module supplier in the blossoming Turkish market with a contracted sales pipeline of more than 300MW, having established an office in Istanbul in April 2014.

Meanwhile, the company’s downstream arm completed 80MW(ac) of generating capacity in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh and another 50MW(ac) in Telangana – lifting its base of operating assets on the subcontinent to 150MW.
