Cogenra will commission a solar cogeneration system at Facebook’s Menlo Park campus in California, soon to be home to its 2,000 employees, providing power and hot water to the site’s fitness centre
The 60kW combined electric and thermal system will displace more than 60% of the Menlo Park gym’s gas consumption, says California-based Cogenra.
Facebook will be the first to use solar cogeneration at a corporate campus, the company claims.
