Chicago-based Exelon developed the 152.8MW Michigan Wind 3 project in the state’s eastern “thumb” region internally. In late 2015, it signed a 20-year power off-take deal for the full output of the facility with Wolverine Electric Supply Cooperative.

Also late last year, Exelon acquired the 200MW Bluestem wind project in Oklahoma’s western Panhandle region from RES Americas. Exelon began site work in January.
