Mitsubishi Electric supplied 154,000 PV modules for the project in Awaji, Hyogo prefecture.
The 60-hectare site, which is owned by the Awaji municipal government, started feeding electricity into the grid earlier this month.
It will annually generate enough electricity to cater to the needs of 11,000 homes, Eurus said in an online statement.
In March, it finished building 22MW of PV just outside of northeastern Japan’s nuclear exclusion zone.
