On Wednesday SunEdison confirmed that it has bowed to Einhorn's demands for more control over the company and installed Claire Gogel, a former partner at Einhorn’s New York-based Greenlight Capital, on its board of directors. The move is effective immediately.
SunEdison also confirmed that it will accede to Greenlight’s demand that once its ongoing acquisition of Vivint Solar is concluded, it will not be allowed to issue additional equity without a supermajority approval from the board, except in extraordinary circumstances.
