According to official Jujuy government reports, the provincial governor Gerardo Morales led the Italian group – which included EGP's Latin America head, Maurizio Bezzeccheri, and business development manager, James Lee Stancampiano – in a visit to salt lakes in the province.
EGP officials were part of group of Italian companies who visited the province following a visit last month by Italian prime minister to Argentina.
