Edison Energy, to be based near Los Angeles, will work with large energy users to reduce their costs, lower their carbon footprint, bolster their energy resiliency, and manage their exposure to energy price risk – all services that play to the advantage of renewables.
The new company will operate separately from Southern California Edison, which provides power to much of southern California, and unlike the utility it will have a nationwide market focus.
