Based in Maryland, GroSolar has built more than 2,000 PV arrays totalling 150MW of capacity, with a focus on serving customers in the commercial and industrial (C&I) space, said a statement from French parent group EDF announcing the deal.
Founded in 1998 as a residential PV operation, GroSolar sold that division in 2010 to concentrate on C&I. It employs about 50 people.
