The news comes just weeks after Pufin announced it would supply more than 200MW of Solland-made PV cells to China’s Trina Solar, the world's largest module maker.
The cells were expected to be used primarily for modules destined for the US market, where Chinese PV manufacturers face several layers of trade tariffs.
According to local press reports, the Limburg court this week upheld the bankruptcy application by the trade union Federatie Nederlandse Vakbeweging (FNV), which was filed earlier this month.
