In June Pennsylvania-based Community Energy revealed the PPA with Amazon Web Services, with president R. Brent Alderfer telling Recharge the company would look to sell the project by early 2016.
On Monday Dominion Energy Inc., a Dominion subsidiary, said it would buy the project. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Construction will commence in the next few weeks and reach completion by autumn 2016, Dominion says.
