Erstwhile chief executive Samuel Yang will now become vice chairman, reporting to Jin. In late June the company completely reshuffled its management, but insisted that Yang would continue in his role as chief executive.
Some analysts expressed concern that the management structure of the solar-cell and -module maker appears so volatile, but shares of JA Solar rose modestly on the news.
