Wholly owned group unit China Sunergy (Nanjing) will provide the cells to support SolarPark Korea’s panel production business and downstream operations.
Seoul-based SolarPark Korea currently has an annual production capacity of 600MW, with plans to eventually expand its domestic manufacturing operations to 1.2GW.
It has supplied PV modules for a range of projects in South Korea, including a 40MW array in Yeongwol, Gangwon province, and a 15MW installation in Gochang, Jeollabuk province.
