Securum hoped to complete the so-called OneGiga project by theend of 2015 at an estimated cost of €1.75bn ($2.32bn). It was dueto be installed in 100 phases of 10MW each during the 2013-2015period.
Securum claimed a 2012 agreement with the authorities committedSerbia to providing at least 3,000 hectares of land suitable forthe project in one of its high-insolation regions, no further than1km from a power transmission network, and for at least 60years.
