In the first project, Conergy is teaming up with a utility and a storage technology company to build a 5MW plant in Germany that is slated to start construction in the second half of the year.
"We see a strong demand for larger industrial storage applications," Gorski said in an interview at the Intersolar trade fair in Munich.
In Australia, Conergy together with an Australian utility is planning an even bigger, 20MW PV storage facility that is scheduled for a construction start towards the end of the year.
