Conergy will continue to operate and maintain PV plant after its ownership is transferred to Foresight Solar Fund, it said.
The PV specialist won the EPC contract in April from RWE Supply & Trading, the energy trading house of the German utility.
Located on a disused airfield at Kencot Hill, close to the town of Oxford, the new plant is already producing enough electricity to supply 10,000 homes in the local area.
