Bids can be handed in at up to €110.90 ($124.85) per MW in the third round, which ends on 1 December, compared with €111.80 and €112.90 in the first two 150MW rounds earlier this year.

"After the first two tendering rounds have taken place successfully and prices for awarded bids in the second round were clearly lower than in the first, one can be curious about whether this trend will continue," says Peter Franke, vice-president of the federal grid agency, BNetzA.
