Canadian Solar raised its guidance for the full-year 2014 as it posted third-quarter net profits of $104.2m, almost double the level of the second quarter and up from $33.3m at the same stage in 2013.
Revenue soared to $914.4m from a prior quarter $623.8m and a year earlier $491m.
The company’s coffers were swelled by module shipments of 770MW, up from a quarter-earlier 646MW – and by the sale of five utility-scale PV plants in Canada.
