Canadian Solar, the world’s largest maker of PV modules based outside of China, now believes it shipped 1.18GW-1.23GW of modules during the third quarter, compared to its previous guidance of 970MW-1.02GW – a more than 20% jump at the high end.

The increase was driven by strong module demand in Canadian Solar’s four core markets, the US, UK, Canada and Japan, says chief executive Shawn Qu.
