Eletrosul plans to sell 800MWh a year. The company will supply the power in 50MWh batches for ten years to the auction winners, who will also be able to have a discount of up to 80% on distribution and transmission fees.
Power companies, power trading companies and large power consumers can participate in the auction. The buyers will also be able to use a clean-power label with the project's name, proving that they are using renewable energy.
