The Science and Technology and the Infrastructure departments signed a cooperation agreement to elaborate the map on 26 February. The map will be ready by the end of this year.
Initial measurements have already been taken and 10 solar irradiation measuring stations are already working in five different locations in the state.
Bahia will combine the map with an existing one for wind power.
