“This is in line with what is expected to be contracted at yearly auctions,” Guilherme Gandra, the head of BNDES's local-content accreditation department, Finame, told Recharge.
Last week, the bank said that five module assemblers, seven inverter manufacturers, two tracker companies and one spring-box maker are already accredited.
Although inverter and tracking-systems producers include multinationals such as GE and ABB, as well as specialists such as Friem, Greenpower, WEG and Soltec, the module assemblers are mostly local, and do not include leading world players.
