Each company will have a 50% interest in all current and future solar projects in the country under the JV agreement.
The JV already includes four projects with total capacity of 107MW for which SunEdison will supply the modules.
The SunEdison Brazilian module factory will produce mono-crystalline panels of 360W. Total production capacity will be 140MW per year starting in 2016, when the plants are expected to be ready, said the company's Brazil manager, Luis Pita.
