Interested companies will use their own resources within Aneel's 2008 R&D programme, through which companies have to invest 0.4% of their annual net operational revenue to develop new technology. The CSP programme was developed in partnership with German international development agency GIZ mbH.
Aneel often uses the programme to introduce new power generation, transmission or distribution technologies and prepare them for competitive auctions.
