BP Solar’s proposal centres on two large-scale commercial solar photovoltaic projects at the federal research site located at Upton, New York. Each project would be sized at just over 18 MW. Combined, that will make the project one of largest solar photovoltaic site in the state.
BP Solar said it expects negotiations for a 20-year power purchase agreement with the power authority “to begin immediately.”
