Apple has agreed 1.1MW of solar leasing and up to 40GWh of further power annually from more than 800 rooftop installations in Sunseap’s portfolio via an off-take deal.
The technology group said the agreement will make it the first company in Singapore to be 100% renewable-powered.
Sunseap, which claims to be Singapore’s largest producer of clean energy, said its network of rooftop installations is the most effective way to generate from renewables within the city-state’s crowded borders, where development space is at a premium.
