ANALYSIS: E.ON shake up could create new solar giant

A heavy push by E.ON into solar would create a powerful player within the relatively thin field of companies that develop and operate both utility-scale wind and solar projects. That list – which currently includes players like Enel Green Power, EDF, and, most recent of all, SunEdison – is expected to grow rapidly in the years ahead as the wind and solar sectors fight their way into the mainstream of electricity production.
