Amonix says intense competition forced plant closure

Concentrating PV (CPV) equipment maker Amonix confirmed it is closing its factory in Nevada, barely a year after it opened, as "intense competition", falling equipment prices and slack demand claim another casualty in the long, hot solar summer.
