Ebitda for the solar divison was up 133% at €21.6m compared to €9.2m in 2008. However the solar division still made a net loss of €60.2m, compard to losses of €8.7m in 2008.
Abengoa currently operates 43 MW in solar plants, including the PS10 and PS20 solar towers, and 12 MW of photovoltaic plants. It has 300 MW of concentrating solar (CSP) plants under construction in Spain and a 150 MW hybrid solar thermal and gas fired plant in Algeria.
