The 10.6GW of fresh solar capacity that was connected to the grid last year represented roughly 25% of new capacity additions throughout the world and accounted for about one-third of domestic solar cell production, the National Energy Administration (NEA) said in an online statement.
Total PV generation rose more than 200% on the year in 2014 to approximately 25 billion kWh.
