The renewables unit at San Diego-based Sempra chalked up earnings of $63m during the first nine months of the year, compared to $56m during the corresponding period last year.
Sempra’s renewables business has been busy over the past two years, with activities ranging from forming a series of utility-scale PV joint ventures with Consolidated Edison Development to the recent commissioning of its 75MW Broken Bow II wind farm in Nebraska.
