Next-generation solar technology developer Oxford Photovoltaics has taken over a thin-film production site previously run by Bosch Solar CIS Tech as it gears up plans to commercialise its innovative PV technology.
The factory, located in Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany, will be equipped to provide modern, pilot-scale capacity to scale-up the UK company's power-boosting perovskite-based concept to industry-standard wafer size, while fine-tuning the manufacturing processes needed for commercial roll-out.
