This year, the Chilean government will start discussions in the special committees for the 2050 Roadmap in which the goal for 70% of supply from renewables is set. Acera's projection is higher than since it also counts on renewables – including solar, wind, small hydro, biomass and geothermal technologies – to reduce green house gas emissions and replace pollution thermoelectric power plants.
