Around 25 workers occupied the administration block of the factory at Newport on the evening of 20 July and said that they would stay indefinitely until the government agrees to discuss proposals to stop the plant closure by nationalising the factory.
Environmental campaign groups and social movements, including the influential Climate Camp group are supporting the occupation, and are starting to gather outside the plant.
