The solar-focused mission “shows how energy is becoming a focal point in the US-India relationship”, according to William Zarit, US deputy assistant secretary of commerce for international operations, who is leading the trade mission.
US officials and representatives from 14 solar firms arrived in New Delhi, and began their trip by meeting a variety of Indian policymakers, industry groups and potential partners.
