The new agreement foresees the two companies building CPV plants with a combined capacity 10 megawatt (MW) in southern Greece, compared to an original agreement announced in November of 1.6MW.
SolFocus says the partners have identified several possible sites for plants and have begun engineering plans for the installations.
“The expansion of this project resulted from the favourable political, economic, and energy generation environment that exists in Greece for commercial solar technologies,” says SolFocus chief executive Mark Crowley.
