It seems appropriate, therefore, that Australia’s leading renewables industry body would look to a leading light from the UK to take on a crucial clean-energy advocacy role.
Describing Australia’s 2020 renewables target of 20% as “ambitious”, the chief executive of the Clean Energy Council (CEC), David Green, does not mince words when he points to the lack of cross-party consensus on decarbonising the economy as a major obstacle.
“In
