The two companies have filed for approval with Australia’s Environment Department to build a A$390m wind farm near Rugby, around 220km southwest of Sydney.
If the application is successful, the two companies will begin construction in mid 2012, with commissioning taking place in 2014, according to the filing.
In December, developer Infigen Energy achieved project financing for the 48.3MW Woodlawn wind farm in Bungendore, South Wales that will use 23 Suzlon S88 2.1MW
