Wind power in October made up 14.1% of total power production, while renewable energy as a whole made up 24% of Spain’s total, REE said. During the first ten months of the year, renewables made up 25% of total production.
Meanwhile Spanish power demand in October fell by 2.7% compared to a year earlier due to the country’s economic slowdown. In the first ten months of the year, demand fell 4.9%.
