The deal will make Fotowatio’s subsidiary Fotowatio Renewable Ventures one of the largest solar development companies in the US, with around 35 megawatts (MW) in capacity and over 400MW in development.
The assets being acquired by Fotowatio include the largest photovoltaic (PV) installation in the US, the 14 MW plant at the Nellis Air Force base in Nevada. They also include a solar array at Denver international airport and the world’s largest think film solar installation using CIGS technology in Arizona.
