The $440m acquisition is SN Power’s largest to date, and comes on the heels of its purchase of Brazilian energy-trading company Enerpar.
Brazil is a target market for SN Power, which in Latin America has hydro and wind plants operating in Peru and Chile.
Desenvix is the power generation arm of the engineering company Engevix and has a portfolio of renewable energy assets of 162MW in operation, 176MW under construction, and a pipeline of 1.6GW
