Few details of the reports about the listing plan are yet available, but Sinovel Wind is the largest manufacturer in the Chinese wind energy equipment market, and claims to be among the top five in the world.
Sinovel has previously said the company is considering a listing to raise funds.
The company has only recently started production of a 5MW turbine at its factory in Jiangsu, and plans to establish a wind industry base in the Changxing Island Harbour Industrial Zone of Dalian.
