ScottishPower published a new study on 1 May that it says shows that the Central North Sea could potentially store all of Europe’s CO2 emissions well into the next century.
ScottishPower, which is participating in the UK Government's competition to develop the UK's first commercial scale CCS project, part funded a one year joint study by the Scottish Centre for Carbon Storage (SCCS), The Scottish Government and industry partners, to assess potential carbon storage sites in a section of the North Sea.
