The energy marketing and trading unit of PPL says it is buying the solar RECs from SunPower to support the development of renewable energy in New Jersey, one of the country’s fastest growing solar markets.
“Combining the advantages of competitive markets with extended incentives for projects that support renewable energy and energy sustainability, that’s a winning formula,” says Gene Alessandrini, senior vice president-Marketing for PPL EnergyPlus.
