The three projects are the 201 MW Meridian Way wind farm in Kansas, the 103 MW Rattlesnake Road wind farm in Oregon, and the 201 MW Pioneer Prairie I wind farm in Iowa.
The US is currently the world’s largest producer of wind energy, with installed capacity of over 21,000 MW as of the end of September 2008.
