The report predicts that over 11GW of new capacity will be added in the sector over the next five years, with the UK, Germany and China accounting for almost 9.3GW of 83% of the total.
Developers will invest €38bn in capital expenditure between 2011 and 2015. The UK will account for €15bn of this, with peaks of expenditure of €5bn in 2012 and €4bn in 2015, consolidating its position as the world leader in the sector.
