“If no buyer can be found, the company’s manufacturing facilities both in Columbus, Nebraska, and Ephrata, Washington, will likely be closed,” the company says in a statement.
Employees at both plants were notified of the decision earlier in the week and will continue working to complete existing contracts. Katana Summit employs 214 people in Nebraska and 79 in Washington State. The company will then provide layoff assistance.
