The Radona I and Radona II facilities, with a 56 MW combined capacity, are located in the towns of Adradas and Alcubilla de las Peñas respectively. Iberdrola has invested €69.4 million in the plants, which took 19 months to build. Radona I has 12 turbines with an output of 2 MW each, while Radona II has 16 2 MW turbines.
Iberdrola starts wind farms in Northern Spain
Spanish Renewable energy giant Iberdrola Renovables has started production from two new wind farms in the region of Soria, in the Castilla y León Province autonomous community.
